When it comes to my girls birthday parties I always stick to a strict budget of $100. That includes the cake, decor and food. In order for me to stay within budget I literally make everything. Planning in advance is key because it gives me time to lay out a detailed plan, shop around for the best prices and slowly craft everything little by little as time allows. This was such a fun party to create! The two things that I crafted for Lucy’s party that I am the most proud of are the tea cups and rose bushes. If you are curious about my thought process behind Lucy’s Alice in Wonderland party check out the pinned story on my instagram.
It doesn’t have to cost a fortune to make your kiddo’s dream party come to life. Lucy had so much fun with her pals on her birthday. I was so happy I could create this little magical world for Lucy on her special day.

The children learned how to make their own beeswax honeycomb keepsakes, took a walk across the bridge to Akron’s historic Mustill Store to learn about importance of the honey bee culture AND they created adorable bee inspired masterpieces! Who could ask for a better morning?
